Aren’t corsets very uncomfortable?

No! Often people don’t want to take them off! A properly made corset gives amazing support, particularly for your back, and helps you to sit and stand correctly. Some movements, like bending forward, are a little limited, but hey, men will be falling over themselves to pick up your dropped handkerchief when they see your hourglass figure.

Should a corset have to be made to measure? Can I buy one in my size?

For a corset to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative, it should ideally be made specially for you. We offer corsets in small, medium and large sizes, or you can provide your measurements for a better fit.  For that extra-special occasion: a wedding or a ball, you might prefer to have a custom-made corset.

Anything you like. For the evening, corsets look fantastic with large, billowing skirts. Or, if you’re pencil slim (and we know who you are) then a straight, tight skirt looks amazing and shows off your new cleavage even better. They look great over jeans, or you can wear a plain corset under a neat jacket for a very smart look.

It doesn’t have any whalebone in, does it?

No. Absolutely not. The ‘boning’ is a flexible spiral steel that bends in all directions with your body. No animals are harmed during the making of our corsets.

Can I wash my corset?

It depends what sorts of fabric and trim have been used, but it’s much better to have it specialist dry-cleaned.

How much does it cost?

Even the simplest corset takes very many hours to make, and fabrics and trims vary greatly in price. We provide a fixed quotation for each corset, but as a guide, a minimum price would be about £100.
